		<description>Mark, you must buy the baspares with the neys, I&#039;m afraid. Each ney is different and the usta (maker) adjusts each baspare to fit each specific ney. Also, it&#039;s better to buy one good instrument than several bad ones. So I think your best bet would be to forget the ones you have and buy one good one. You can buy more later in different keys as budget permits. On the &quot;Links&quot; page there are links to three good ney-makers in Istanbul: Rifat Varol, Hanefi Kirgiz and Mehmet Yucel. I have neys by all three. There may be other good makers online, but I don&#039;t know them personally. 
If you are in Sydney, I would be happy to have a look at the neys you have. I have a couple of neys for sale - email me kimzgaida@hotmail.com. I also teach ney.
It is a wonderful instrument. Good luck! 
Just a thought:  Maybe your neys are Arabic.  They do not have baspares. Is the top (blowing) edge bevelled? In this case, you do not need baspares. - Kim</description>
